The Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes!

Peterborough Mitsubishi is proud to be a pet-friendly dealership. We understand that your pets are part of your family and we encourage them to join you during your search for a new or used vehicle or to hang out during your service appointments./span>

Our love of all animals has made it a no-brainer decision to become a sponsor of The Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes

We hope that all the animals at The Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes can find their forever homes.

The Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes began rescuing pets in 1986 and was founded by a group of concerned citizens. After many generous donations and the purchase of their current location at 111 McLaughlin Road, the shelter was built and the Adoption Centre opened its doors in 1999.

The Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes aims to protect all animals, enforce protection laws and educate the public. Dreaming of a day that every animal has an amazing quality of life with caring, responsible and knowledgeable owners.

Clifford may look like your ordinary black cat but his personality tells a different story. His nicknames include Crazy Clifford, Kooky Clifford or Wild Boy. He's 2 years old but still acts like a kitten. He loves to jump from the cat trees onto the kennels and sometime he'll jump right onto your shoulder. He loves to perch right on your shoulder and stick his whole face close to yours. Besides jumping he loves running and playing with his toys. He is a sweet, friendly boy who is looking for a home that can give him all the love and playtime. He likes other cats too and would love a playmate. He was surrendered on May 27 due to a life change and he's been with us ever since. He was in quarantine for a few weeks due to a upper respiratory infection but now he's healthy. He's neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. If you're interested in meeting Clifford please call 705 878 4618 ex 0

Thank you to our Honey Fund for making these bigger surgeries possible for cats like Huxley.
